Brand new luxury lodge home only one and a half thousand feet from the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, above Cades Cove, sleeps 4 - 6. Perfect getaway for one or two couples, having two full King Master bedroom and bathroom suites, one on each floor to maximize privacy. Easy fully paved roadway up to the house with plenty of level parking and easy flat entry to the house.
Contemporary style with latest fittings to ensure the most comfortable stay, including four-person hot tub, extensive wrap around decks with porch rockers. as well as a picnic table and gas grill. Enjoy expansive ridge top views of surrounding peaks including Mt. LeConte. You might even spot deer, black bears, turkey, or fox.
Very well-equipped dining and kitchen with stove, microwave, fridge freezer with ice maker, dishwasher, Keurig coffee maker etc. Other features include latest Roku 4K televisions in both bedrooms and lounge, stone feature fireplace with gas fire seasonal cabin style, full height open beamed ceiling, full access to ten-foot-wide wrap around deck enjoying the best views in Laurel valley from this high elevation position.
Study has desk with USB ports, laundry room with new washer and dryer, half bathroom and a two-person sleeper sofa if needed. The Located within the gated community of Laurel Valley also offers the renowned Wild Laurel Golf Course with complimentary access to the clubhouse, Tavern, restaurant, pool table, swimming pool, and fitness center with dry sauna.
Known as the Peaceful Side of the Smokies, Townsend offers several excellent restaurants, bars, and shopping, as well as tubing, fishing, hiking, birdwatching, and cycling. It serves as a Gateway to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and is also only a short drive to Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, and Dollywood. There are also local shopping destinations in Townsend, such as Apple Valley Country Stores, Smoky Mountain Outdoor Center, Dogwood Mall, Dollar General Store, and the Village Market IGA Grocery Store.

Lovely weekend getaway! House exactly as described. Check in was simple. We ate some meals out at great local restaurants but really enjoyed having a fully stocked kitchen(pots/ pans, utensils, etc) and a gas grill to cook meals on. What a beautiful deck and amazing scenery to have dinner by! We enjoyed
relaxing in the hot tub which was well maintained. Everything was extremely clean and pristine! Would definitely come back!

There was a mishap on Airbnbs side where the check in information wasn't sent thru our messages. Busy driving I didn't realize this until arriving around 9pm on a Tuesday. Chad answered the phone call immediately and walked us through getting into the gate into the community as well as the house. He had a very caring and sincere tone of voice and the house was absolutely gorgeous inside and out. Very clean, comfortable furniture and beds, clean bathrooms, and the hot tub was the perfect touch at the end of a long day to relax.

Eagle's Nest is a very fitting name. It's one of the highest houses on the mountain, therefore very private and quiet, and luckily all paved roads unlike some other places in the area. the house still smelled new, and everything was in working order. Beds were very comfortable. The stacked washer/dryer were nice to do laundry midway through our stay. The entire family enjoyed the large patio and hot tub, and the view of the setting sun over the backyard mountain. If you're looking for a peaceful mountain top getaway, yet close enough to Townsend and Cades Cove, this is a great option.
